Sarai Santana

She holds a degree in Translation from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) and has studied at Chinese universities including Beijing International Studies University (BISU) and Beijing Language and Culture University, as well as San Diego State University (SDSU).

She is a member of the Mexican Association of Graduates in Translation and Interpreting (CMLTI) and co-founder of the Ensenada Chinese Students Community, Hanyuxuens. She has also carried out research and given talks on the teaching and learning of Chinese as a foreign language in Mexico.

She works as a translator and interpreter for private industry and has interpreted on business trips to China. She has also taught Chinese language and culture. Her working languages are Spanish, English and Chinese, and she holds HSK certifications.
